Picking Mango's, Qeleni Branch Social, beautiful Fiji!
A long bamboo pole is used for getting the mango's out of the tree.

The season has just begun, the mango's are still fairly small.

The end of the Bamboo is carved into a fork shape to easily remove mangos from the high branches.

The walls of concrete block are being placed...


Elder Vermeeren and Elder Noble help set up the new Volleyball net in Qeleni.

Everyone is pleased to have this new addition to their branch building.

The Elders newly renovated flat next to the Qeleni chapel is ready to be moved into. Elder Barnaby and Elder Jonutz will be living here!

Everybody had a great time together!

We were wondering if the bus could pass this tractor, when it stopped and the bus driver passed a lunch bag through the window to the tractor driver! The Elders roared with laughter!





We passed abandoned Villa 's as we walked near the beach.

They looked like they would have beeen very nice a one point.

The children are carrying their loads quite differently then we are used to!

Even the young children carry their share.

This is a resort cottage that is rented out to visitors .
They have six  cottages available.
