Taveuni Technical visit by Qima!


It is Wonderful to have internet at the chapel again!

Parts to be repaired will be taken back to Suva...

Elder Jones and Elder Howard off to their Vuna flat.....


Awesome planks of wood are being cut from fallen trees....

School roofs continue to be repaired....


Many of the desks have been swollen with moisture and are no longer usable....

LDS charities are lining up used school furniture from New Zealand to replace chairs like this.

It is sad to see so many desks destroyed....


The Fijian Army works on rebuilding the schools. this is an excellent way to train their youth in carpentry skills.



Most of the schools in the South are in need of desks and chairs...


School lunch is made for the students...

by volunteer parents..

It is great to see the help the school is receiving....
Every tent and tarp is being well used...

Elder Jones helps bring in clothing donations...

Elder Howard also helps carry in clothing...

Many people benefit from clothing donations...

The school room tents are very appreciated and well used....

It has been a great blessing to have so many clothes donated...



The Navakawau kindergarder will begin again on Monday...

Elder Vermeeren checks how the roof trusses are coming along in the school building.

Lean to's and tents are intermixed as people rebuild ....

The School Tents are a Wonderful Blessing to the Schools!

Many classrooms continue even though repairs are not completed.

The schools are thrilled that LDS charities care ....



In Somosomo some of the school furniture is very old..

and very used...

The teachers desks are in need of replacement.



Tables and benches serve as desks here...


The Principal is pleased that LDS Charities care about the school and his students!
