It was my pleasure to be asked to cut the cake.
Such wonderful sisters..
We had a few males attend.
Sister Tapita and her lovely daughters...
All the sisters, including myself danced ....
The next day we drove out to Lavena, on the North east side of our Island....
We were saddened to see their village beach walk and little hotel had been destroyed. It brought in a lot of income for these people...
They too are rebuilding....
The Australian Army has supplied tents...
and Tarps....
The School remains roofless....
This is where the children have their classes.
Temporary shelter have been buildt
So sad to see these wonderful people loose all they possess...
We are so grateful for the help the church continues to send. Thank You LDS Charities!
