April 1st

Happy Birthday to Lesley  April 9th..
Happy Birthday to Roman April 20th..
Happy Birthday to Randy  April 20th...
A new baby girl for our Navakawau group Leader, Brother Muri, and his family...

We ran into a little traffic on the way to Lavena..

We are grateful to have been able to enjoy this walk previous to the cyclone..

At Lavena Primary school, most of the classes are meeting outside.

Several classroom tarps and tents have been assembled.

Here many of the desks have been destroyed by moisture.

Many repairs still to be done...

The kindergarten classes at Lavena...

This is their craft today...

They love that you will see what a wonderful job they have done!

This home is literally being held together....

Lavena continues to rebuild..

Next to Bouma District School..

They had many damaged chairs and desks to show us..

Lavena has had much "Winston" damage. People kept saying thank you.."vinaka" for coming to their village. Many told us their Winston stories...Where they and their families were..their feelings of life being over...the fear they experienced during those never to be forgot hours during Cyclone Winston.
