July 24th

The week in Taveuni , Fiji....
The people are finding 23 degrees to be very colder them here.

Elder Leqere, who has been serving as a Ward Missionary, gets his mission call.

To honour his Father (uncle, who raised him) he gives him the call letter, as a sign of respect. The Uncle opens it, then gives it back to the son, to read it.

He is thrilled to read
he will be going to Papua, New Guinea!

As we came around the corner, a tree dropped across the road in front of us.

Quickly the boys chopped all the branches.

they had the road clear within a few minutes ...

beautiful orchids.

Elder Noble comes up with a plan... "Go to church " Saving cans. People can put money in through out the week to be ready to come to church by bus on Sunday.

Elder Leqere is on cloud nine today!

So thrilled to be going on a mission!

People were very positive about his "Go to church" cans.

Our service project to help the Singh's with their new home they are building.

She is starting a garden too!

They saw this ceiling on the internet and liked it!

Elder Carter and Barnaby helped remove nails and separate boards.

Elder Vermeeren was very helpful!

The Singh's were happy for our help.

The hope to move in in just a few months.
