March 1

Happy Birthday Stacy March 4th,
Another busy day in Taveuni!
The youth have joined the missionary forces to help serve  their communities

.

Sister Ranama helps keep our Volunteers nourished.

All of our missionaries throughout Taveuni are busy serving in their areas.

This is Taveuni South School. One of the Schools where the eye clinic was held.

They will not be holding classes for a while.

This is the kindergarten.

These are people that are living in the ruins of this school .

People are so grateful .

We love them dearly!

Clothing donations were so needed. Many fled with just the clothes on their backs.

This little girl was so thrilled to have a drink of water .

The coconuts are being salvaged off the fields.

It is hard to believe the natural pruning of this beautiful Garden Island.

This was once a bridge.

This is what remains of Paradise Resort.

Cleaning the church grounds.

Sorting donated clothing for distribution.

Our Vuna chapel will need some repairs.

All our Elders have been busy with repairs and clean up service. These two get a special lunch treat.

Other organizations help to distribute much needed food.

Shelter is difficult to find.

Clothing donations are appreciated.

This house has 104 people sleeping in it. 15 families! Very few homes are standing and safe to sleep in.

This is the Navakawau church pulpit.

This is the home where meetings were being held in.

This house has five families living in it.

They are grateful for the food and shelter they have.

Many are sleeping under the stars.

Water is in very short supply! There has been a drought in this area for the last year.

The Australian government has sent some tarps here.

The tarps keeps them sheltered from the sun.

We see many of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter reday Saints barrels.

People are trying to rebuild.

The Somosomo branch donated many items.

We are so grateful to our wonderful Elders and Sisters who serve in every area of Fiji!
