They performed native songs and dances to celebrate.

Photo posters showed achievements over the years.

They are very proud of their Heritage.

The performers were rewarded with candy treats.

They Flag was proudly waving. It was good to see the flag remained unchanged.

The Fiji people are happy and relaxed.

P- day or preparation day is the day to get personal things taken care of. The one day Elder Vermeeren doesn't wear his tie!

We saw a boat out in the Ocean it said Captain Cook's Cruise Boat on it. People were likely close by diving. Our island has very few tourists on it.

This may be one of the few tubs on the Island. It was special ordered in by the Singh's for their new home. They did all the tile work by themselves, using the internet to learn new techniques.

They have hand made all the doors and windows. They made there own stucco and prepared the ceiling from ideas they found on the internet.

They hope to finish it next month. The are both hardworking and eager to try new ideas!

This is how one  gets to the second floor  until the stairs are finished.

Fiji Day celebrations at another  Group of Villages. The Tribe Chief is honoured as he watches the festivities.

Each Village is represented  by song and dance . Many wore Clothes with the Fiji Flag on them.

Including Elder Vermeeren.

Of Course Food was always part of the celebrations.

The mood is always happy and Festive. Everyone is dancing to the beat of the Music!

And I am thankful to have been blessed to teach these wonderful children today!
