Tagi leaves Sunday Morning for the Mission Training Centre, then on to his mission in Perth, Australia.

President Muri was so happy to find his wife after he sent her to deliver her baby 10 days ago . He had lost contact with her. We had been to the hospital, Police station,  and church. We were able to find her!  She will have her baby anytime!
We are so grateful for the never ending love and support of everyone!

March 2

Our Beautiful Taveuni is starting to blossom again!
This morning flowers appeared on vines.....

Colour immersing from a bleak background....

Giving us hope and a promise of better things to come!

Qeleni, Matei, and Somosomo school classes have resumed....

Meanwhile up in the high areas of Somosomo we continue to deliver food donations...

And our Elders continue to serve where their branch presidents send them to help!

President Maiwiriwiri has been busy...Tomorrow he will send us to the south of Taveuni again to deliver more aide.

The Sisters help deliver to families up in the mountain today.

People were so pleased to receive help.

Leoni and his family of five soon to be six, was so grateful! He came with us to the top of the mountain to find Peni and his family...

After we had driven as far as we could, we began on foot...

At first it was an easy climb...

We were blessed to have Leoni to guide us....

We when further ....

And further...

Across a stream....

up another hill....

Past a home that had not weathered the storm....

Up another hill.....

Finally we found Peni and his family....

They were pleased we had made the effort to make this trek!

We will definitely sleep well tonight!

The Chand family was also happy to see us! Their daughter asked if the sister's would come back to teach her husband about the gospel!

Flower Power!  Makes us so Happy!

We may still see lots of damage and destruction around...

But people are starting to rebuild and....

Hooray! The  cargo boat was able to dock on our newly repaired jetty!
